Following dental extraction, natural biological processes occur that can significantly alter the three-dimensional morphology of the alveolar bone, potentially leading to pronounced volumetric changes. These dimensional alterations often complicate the planning and performance of subsequent implant treatment. Alveolar preservation techniques effectively mitigate these changes, maintaining ridge volume and architecture, and ultimately paving the way for more predictable and successful implant placement. <\/li>\n \t
        • Xenografts as a Gold Standard for Crest Conservation. <\/b> Xenograft materials have emerged as the gold standard in ridge preservation, although not all nonhuman grafts offer equivalent results. Manufacturing processes-including deproteinization techniques, heat treatments, and particle size distribution-significantly influence clinical performance. Collectively, these variables determine xenograft resorption rate, osteoconductivity and volumetric stability, which are crucial factors for successful outcomes in implant therapy. <\/li>\n \t
