Horizontal Guided Bone Regeneration

Learning the biological and clinical principles of Guided Bone Regeneration.
How to combine guided surgery and bone regeneration to achieve the best prosthetic and aesthetic results.
When to perform a one stage or two stage GBR.
How to harvest autologous bone from intra-oral sites.
How to design and raise a flap in aesthetic and non-aesthetic areas.
Deciding how much the flap should be raised.
The choice of the membrane. Resorbable vs non-resorbable membranes.
The sausage technique.
How to fix the membranes.
Vestibular flap passivation.
Lingual flap passivation.
How to suture properly.

Vertical Bone Augmentation

Thursday, 24th October – from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (lunch at 1 p.m.)

Principle of vertical bone augmentation.
Step-by-step explanation on how to achieve the desired vertical height. Advanced technique for flap management.
Not resorbable membranes Vs customized titanium grid.
Vertical augmentation with resorbable material.
Computer Guided Bone Regeneration and vertical bone augmentation. Vertical augmentation on posterior mandible.
Complications: how to reduce their incidence and to manage them.

Live Surgery

During the live surgery session, participants will have the opportunity to observe surgical treatments being performed on patients in real-time.
Each step of the procedure will be thoroughly explained and commented on, allowing participants to see how theoretical knowledge and scientific principles are practically applied in a clinical setting.
This experience is designed to enhance understanding by directly correlating learned concepts with actual surgical practices.
