Surgeon specialising in Maxillofacial Surgery with a doctorate in Clinical Science and Technology. He honed his skills in oncological surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in Austria, Germany and the UK. Author of numerous scientific publications, he has been a speaker at international conferences and lecturer in reconstructive surgery courses. He is on the editorial board of 10 international scientific journals. He is currently Head of Maxillofacial Surgery at the ‘Clinica del Mediterraneo’ in Ragusa and Consultant at the ‘Humanitas’ Hospital in Catania. He qualified as University Professor and has taught at the University of Catania and other international universities.
